Happy Friday and happy early Mother’s Day to all you moms out there! The weather this weekend is perfect, and our event calendar is filled to the brim! We’ve got music, sports, and even a chance to bring your dog to the zoo today! Today’s food spotlight goes out to a local favorite with an incredibly delicious menu just north of Castle Rock. Spotlight: Danielle’s Scratch Kitchen in Castle Pines

Tucked into Castle Pines, Danielle’s Scratch Kitchen serves up homemade comfort with a creative twist. Owned by Danielle Seewald, this neighborhood favorite is known for its fresh, from-scratch meals made with locally sourced ingredients.

The menu blends American staples with Mediterranean and Latin flavors—think Green Chili Chicken Enchiladas, Grilled Salmon over Quinoa, and the must-try Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. Everything, from sauces to baked goods, is made in-house.

With a warm, welcoming vibe and a scenic patio, Danielle’s is perfect for brunch, date night, or a relaxed family dinner. “It’s about more than food—it’s about community,” says Danielle.
